This guy was terrific, he just really had an awful job of keeping us in line. I was a frequent visitor, I think he had empathy for me for I never felt I was judge too harshly or unfairly...Grady High and I were just a poor fit. I completed my Senior year at the High Museum of Art, thanks to Mr. Miller. I am sure he had something to do with it for that is where I usually confessed I was when I was skippin' school! mr. miller was diffently a positive influence in my life.  I'm very sad to find out he had passed.  I was also a frequent visitor in his office & still appreciate his advise. I graduated '70 :kind of....long story: & in mid '80's ....i was working in a bakery in Snellville, Ga. One day the door opened,  I looked up and in walked Mr. Miller & his wife! Our eyes meet & we immediately knew each other. At first I felt like I had just got off the bench outside the office & had walked in to his office, I could visualize him sitting there looking up, me choosing the chair closest to the door(just in case). On this day he walked with a cane and almost seemed fragile, but I could still benefit from the wisdom in his eyes. We had a nice talk, even a nice hug Mr Miller is sorely missed and always respected.

MR. MILLER WAS THE GUY TO BEAT AT GRADY AND I NEVER DID. I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE MET HIM LATER AS SYBIL DID. I THINK I SPENT AS MUCH TIME IN HIS OFFICE AS IN ANY CLASS I EVER TOOK AND GOT JUST AS MUCH FROM IT, AND IT WAS A LOT. I ONLY THINK HAPPY WHEN I THINK OF MR. MILLER. HELL I KINDA LOOK LIKE HIM NOW, I WONDER IF HE KNEW MY MOTHER?
