I loved his class. He taught, World History, if I remember correctly.
He lived with his Mother and he traveled a lot. When we were discussing Persia, for instance, he would bring in an actual "Persian Rug" that he had obtained from that country or somewhere on his travels.
He was a jolly person, with a big smile, and I really, really enjoyed his class.

We had fun at Mr. Hilderbrand's class, and remember he used to love to be by the fan we had for 'air'.
He was a character, but a gentleman, and it was always an experience to be in the class for the period.
